Asslamu alaikum. Welcome to the Ummah Edinburgh website.
Ummah Edinburgh is an organisation that works for the benefit of the Muslim community. It campaigns on issues that affect the everyday lives of Muslims.
One of the projects it has participated in with other Muslim organisations in Edinburgh is a community radio station during the holy month of Ramadan, called Radio Ramadan Edinburgh.
Radio Ramadan Edinburgh aims to reach out to the Muslim community and provide it with a platform to be informed and educated about Islam, Ramadan and its community.
Radio Ramadan Edinburgh aims to provide the Muslims of Edinburgh with access to a medium that is not available to them through mainstream media and to encourage the community to discuss, debate and be informed about its problems and aspirations.
